Come and visit us

Moving from junior school to ‘big school’ is often a mix of excitement and concern for students and parents; here at The Blue Coat School Basingstoke, we try our very hardest to minimise worry and maximise the excitement of students.

The first step in preparing your child for the move is our Open Events, which offer students the chance to roam the site and meet staff and students. This is usually followed up by a school tour where they are able to see the school in action during a normal day. These two events alone help to allay many fears and ramp up the excitement – but that’s only the start of the journey.

In Year 5, students are offered the chance to join us on one of our Taster Days.
