Women in STEM Event Success!
Competing against teams from a variety of local schools, our students worked brilliantly together and achieved a very respectable third place overall!
On Wednesday, Mr Cole and Mrs Baker had the pleasure of taking six Year 9 students to the Women in STEM event, run by AWE,
Throughout the day, students took part in an exciting series of hands-on challenges, including:
🥚 Egg Drop
🏗 Tower building using spaghetti and marshmallows
🕵️ Solving a murder mystery
🌀 Navigating a maze with a sphere ball via an iPad
🎯 Catapulting objects
🕶 A VR challenge
A huge well done to Ellie, Roceall, Paula, Ashley, Ifeoluwa, and Lydia, who represented TBCS impeccably throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of your enthusiasm, teamwork, and determination.
